How to create an ephemeral and functional town in the middle of the desert? How to survive and create in a hostile and intense environment? Let's go through different solutions and experiments to create a living dream while keeping the whole experience sustainable. Self-organization, decision making processes, leaderships, ... This session will be based on the Participation principle of Burning Man: everyone is invited to play!
Burn events are based on the 10 Burning Man principles. These events are inclusive and participative to co-create an experience involving from a few dozen to tens of thousands of participants. How to create an ephemeral and functional town in the middle of the desert? How to survive and still enjoy the experience? We will go through different solutions and experiments co-created by the burn communities to be able to create a living dream while keeping the whole experience sustainable. We will talk about self-organization, decision making processes, leaderships, and other ideas to survive and create in a hostile and intense environment. This session will be based on the Participation principle of Burning Man: everyone is invited to play!
